House Amenities
Heat and Air Conditioning
Only a few weeks a year is A/C needed. Window units will be installed in the 2 bedrooms off of the kitchen from July 1 - Sept 15th (depending on temperature). Upstairs bedrooms have in room units that vent to the window. Easy to install yourself but we can install before your stay. All bedrooms have a ceiling fan controlled from a wall switch.
Thermostats are located in basement (near laundry room), in kitchen near bedrooms, in living room, and in each bedroom on the top floor. The kitchen thermostat controls the 2 bedrooms on that floors. Those rooms will get hot if you turn it up too high. Best to maintain the heat at about 65 degrees.
Fire Place
Gas fireplace is available for use in winter months only. Detailed instruction in the house on its use.
Fire Pit
Available outside near the covered patio. Please do not move from location. Please bring your own wood.
Coffee Machine
The coffee machine allows for making regular drip brewed coffee. Please bring coffee for your stay. There is also a tea kettle and Chemex.
Dish Washer
Please make sure the dishwasher is full before turning it on. You’ll find the dishwasher liquid below the sink.
Garbage
Cans for garbage and recycling including bags are below the sink. It is best to bring the garbage to the disposal center a few times during your stay. Do not leave garbage outside. There are animals in the community.
Grill
Grill available for use year round. Available outside near the covered patio. Please do not move from location. Propane for the grill should be filled. If you need to refill please reach out and we will reimburse you.
Please be sure to clean after use.
Laundry
Washer & Dryer Located in basement. Laundry detergent is available for use during your stay.
TV
There is 1 smart TV in the basement only.
Board Games
Variety of board games and cards in the white cabinet near dining table.
Wifi
High speed wifi is available during your stay. Connection information is posted in the kitchen.
Cleaning supplies
All cleaning supplies are located below the kitchen sink.
Towels
All Blue towels are for in-house guest use. These will be left out on the beds before you arrive and extras will be in the primary bedroom closet.
All striped beach towels are for outside and hot tub use. These can be found in the basement storage are near the laundry room or the sliding door. Hooks are provided on the outside covered porch and in the basement.
