Lake Rules and Navigation
All kayaks, paddle boards (SUP), paddles, & life jackets are stored in the shed. The canoe is kept just outside the shed upside down. Please be sure to return everything at the end of your stay.
The lake is available for use from Memorial Day to Labor (length depends on season and changes each year) and is lowered for the winter about mid October.
The house sits on a shallow cove and is safe from heavy and fast moving boat traffic. When leaving the dock paddle to the left to stay in the cove and when leaving the cove you must stay in between the buoy markers and the shore.
Be cautious as there is a large rock below the water near the dock. No jumping off the dock the water is shallow ( 2ft). Look for the eagles nest straight out from the dock in the large tree!! The wooden walkway to the lake can be slippery when wet please be careful. Have fun!!
When leaving the dock, paddle left to stay in the cove.
Outside the cove, stay between the buoy markers and the shoreline.
Water by the dock is about 2 feet deep; no jumping or diving.
Always wear a life jacket and return all gear after use.
